Math Foundations

How we Design & Teach our Classes

Our classes are always prepared in advance to ensure our students maximise their learning. Our goal is to help our students improve their confidence and understanding of all the topics.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Concept Questions & Explanations

All foundation concepts and topics are carefully selected to prepare students for the QCAA Math Methods syllabus in grades 11 & 12. Students will complete both group and individual exercises to improve understanding and skills.

Weekly Quizzes

One of the most important exam skills is being able to tackle questions while under pressure confidently. We help students improve exam skills to prepare them for the ATAR assessments

Individually Assigned Revision

Every student is different with their own strengths and weaknesses. Depending on how they go during the class and the quiz, we will assign each student personalised revision work after every lesson to improve the skills they need most.

Short Break with Snacks

A mental break is important for the brain to process all that knowledge. We provide a short break midway through the lesson with some yummy snacks!

Extended Support.jpg

Extended Support

We believe that success comes more easily when students feel supported in their education goals. That's why our students will have access to a range of support services outside of our usual classes, including:

  • School homework questions

  • Assignment help and proof-reading

  • Access to tutors any time of the week

Who is this for?

Grade 7, 8 & 9

Having strong math foundations is vital to succeeding in Math Methods later down the track. Students in grades 7, 8 & 9 will have the opportunity to identify gaps in their knowledge and strengthen their foundations in basic math concepts, including:

  • Algebra

  • Trigonometry

  • Pre-calculus

  • Statistics & Probability

By improving their confidence in these math concepts, students will be better prepared for the advanced concepts taught in the QCAA Math Methods Syllabus.
